Marshalls has an awesome section for food/spices.

Williams Sonoma carries Harvest Song Preserves and L’Ortolano Spice Rubs are featured at fancy food shows… and I got both of these items at Marshalls.

What’s cookin’ tonight? Grilled chicken and veggies.

Marinade:

  • L’ortolano Savory Herbs for Poultry (sea salt, mustard seed, onion, garlic, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, white pepper, cayenne);
  • Harvest Song apricot & white cherry Preserves;
  • Bragg’s liquid aminos;
  • Bragg’s apple cider vinegar;
  • fresh minced garlic.

Cutting slits in the legs helps the marinade to permeate the meat and it hastens the cooking process. I used golden balsamic and olive oil on the vegetables.

  • asparagus
  • green onion
  • yellow squash

I added curly endive and Blue Salem bleu cheese (made from raw milk, creamy and mild). You can get this cheese at Trader Joe’s.

Ok, I’m gonna go eat now…
