Smoothies are berry, berry good to me.
Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries. That’s a lot of chewing…
Homemade smoothies taste so much better than anything you’ll buy at a chain/franchise. That’s because you get to control the sugar/fat, etc. And you really can’t go wrong with summer produce.
I use a Hamilton Beach food processor (500 watts) and very little liquid (coconut, almond, or vanilla soy milk) to blend my fruit.
I’ll definitely be doing green smoothies when I get my commercial blender. For now, I am happy to sauté my greens and veggies.
Here’re some pics and the ingredients:
- 2 bananas
- frozen blueberries
- frozen rapberries
- half-frozen strawberries
- a tablespoon of ‘Better Than Coffee’ (a choline supplement)
- a smidge of coconut milk
